Time attack
The Japanese version of this game, released a year later, changed certain (albeit minor) parts of each level and replaced the staff roll with a time attack screen, showing the best time for the Capcom staff and displaying the player's total time at The End. By stage and in minutes and seconds, they are as follows:
Stage 1 1P: 3:20 (T.W) 2P: 2:40 (YKK & JHK)
Stage 2 1P: 5:00 (N.Y) 2P: 3:30 (T.F & KTN)
Stage 3 1P: 5:40 (NGK) 2P: 4:50 (T.N & KHS)
Stage 4 1P: 8:30 (Y.W) 2P: 5:40 (Y.J & K.K)
Stage 5 1P: 9:00 (M.S) 2P: 7:40 (T.N & Y.S)
