I’ve been thinking about the nn [name]Rudy[/name] for a while. I love it, most probably because he’s a heroic and loveable character in one of my favourite books. Only problem being that I have a strict no-nicknames-as-full-names policy. I’m not sure I can get over the name typically being a nn for [name]Rudolf[/name] (absolutely NO!) or [name]Rudyard[/name] (absolutely absolutely NO!) to use it as a stand alone name.
Can I ask you lovely creative Nameberries to help me find a full name for the nn [name]Rudy[/name]. I’m thinking more [name]Kit[/name] for [name]Christopher[/name] than [name]Will[/name] for [name]William[/name], if you know what I mean! I’ve been considering looking into names which have some relation to the colour red (but only because I believe the name has some relation to red, correct me if I’m wrong, please!), and as yet the only ones that are jumping out at me are [name]Rufus[/name] and [name]Rowan[/name]. Any other ideas?
