I’ve been crushing on some medieval names lately (especially [name_f]Adeliza[/name_f]!) lately, and I’m wondering if you berries wouldn’t mind indulging me. Is anyone familiar with medieval names, especially ones that are a bit light and airy feeling (like [name_f]Adeliza[/name_f]) but also have a bit of that mysterious weight? [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] I’m familiar with (and don’t love), but some of the others I’ve been toying with are [name_f]Lovella[/name_f], Esmée, [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], Liliola, [name_f]Brunhilda[/name_f], [name_f]Cateline[/name_f], [name_f]Joliet[/name_f], [name_f]Godiva[/name_f], etc.
It seems like this is a much lesser explored category and I’m wondering what else might be out there. Any ideas for any great and unusual medieval names?
